NOEL HENDRICK IS through to the semi-final of the Canoe Slalom, K1 category. This follows a second run of 90.68sec, which secured 19th place overall in the heats.
Noel Hendrick had a time of 98.64sec in his first run, which included 10 penalty seconds. The top 20 following the second heat qualified for the semi-final.
Frenchman Titouan Castryck was fastest in the first heat, with a time of 83.71sec. He was fastest again in the second run, with a time of 80.09sec.

Michaela Corcoran did not progress to the semi-final of the Canoe Slalom C1 category, after a second run of 168.08 left her in 21st place overall.
Earlier, the 21-year-old recorded a time of 129.55sec in her first run during the heats.
Corcoran missed a gate during her first run, and had to go back to go through it so as not to incur a 50-second penalty. She had 10 penalty seconds included in her time.
